tldr: see the image. First one in light mode and second one in dark mode.
Can replicate. I’ll look into why it’s happening (text colour maybe?)
Text colour and background colour are the same. Adding the white-fg class fixed the issue. Adam’s solution for integrating it into the light mode toggle is probably going to be different but at least now I saved him 10 minutes (hopefully)
