Idea for implementing a linklog in weblog

I was thinking of a way to implement a linklog using weblog.lol, more or less like this:

  • Using titleless posts, I’d post a small paragraph describing a link I want to share. It could be an article, a video, a podcast episode, whatever.
  • I’d then tag it as “linklog”, for example.
  • Using a tag page template, I would style a page with a text block explaining that this is a section of my blog listing all my links, etc. I’d list all posts tagged “linklog” through this template, also assuming it would allow for post pagination.

I just wonder if that’s feasible, because I don’t actually have a clue on how to properly implement it.

You could technically do that now except that you can’t define a separate template for a single tag (although using CSS you could do some stuff by having slugs as CSS classes on <body>), and posts to that tag would also still appear in your regular lists of posts.

I’ve just tagged this post as a feature request so, this way, @adam can take a look and, if possible, think of tag page templates if possible :+1:

@daniel @bix Love the idea of per-tag page templates, and shouldn’t be hard to implement at all. Let me see what I can pull together soon.
