That’s a really good question, heh. The profile generator is engineered around making the Font Awesome iconified lists, but yeah, not everyone wants one of those all the time!
The lame answer here, for now, is “use HTML”:
It’s not a great solution, but it works. There are a number of updates I need to make to the profile page generator, so I’m tagging this post as a feature-request so I can be sure to add an easier and more natural way to control the list type within the flow of Markdown itself.
