What I’m thinking here is a configuration file setting wherein you can specify something to get appended to a post in RSS feeds.
Use case: including a “reply by email” link that gets appended onto feed items. (I used to do this via a custom code snippet in WordPress.)

Is this a simple string, like the Truncation appendix, or a format snippet?
