Some.pics is a great service to add pictures to my weblog. I want to use the description (for alt text) on the weblog, but in some cases I don’t want to share them ‘publicly’ on some.pics. Can you add an option for that?
Omitting a description is the way to prevent pictures from appearing on the site. You can still add alt text when adding a picture to the weblog (just put it between the brackets in the Markdown photo syntax, .
Since the goal of the service is to share things openly, I don’t really want to add any controls geared toward hiding or otherwise suppressing things as I don’t want to give the impression that there’s any kind of security model or privacy for pictures posted there (since there isn’t). I hope this makes sense!
