[bug] paste listing has no entries

When I create a paste and hit the checkbox “listed?” there is no entry on username.paste.lol, just showing " No public pastes."

This a known bug or am I’m missing something?

I also tried to create a new listed paste and it can be viewed live directly at the full URL but does not show on the paste homepage username.paste.lol

Sorry for the delay in responding to this. I think I figured out the issue here, and it’s kind of a dumb one (sorry!). Turns out that the listed paste behavior is working fine — that is, when you mark a paste as listed, it’s reflected properly in the database… the problem, though, is that your public paste listing at [address].pastebin.lol is served from a cache that takes about a minute to clear.

You should be able to confirm this by following these steps:

  1. Create a new listed paste, or pull up an existing unlisted paste and mark it as listed (and save it).
  2. Visit [youraddress].pastebin.lol and fail to see it there, leading you to believe that something is broken.
  3. Wait ~60 seconds, then refresh the page, and see your listed paste appear before your very eyes!

I realize this is really cruddy, and I’m going to work out a way to flush that cache whenever you save a paste. Until then, though, rest assured that listed pastes are in fact listed after a brief delay!
