[Announce] clilol version 1.0.0 released

Hello lollers,

I’ve just tagged version 1.0.0 of clilol, my command-line interface tool to (almost) all things omg.lol! If, like me, you live in a terminal and want to interact with omg.lol that way, clilol is for you.

You can download clilol for macOS, Windows, or Linux from the link above. Documentation on how to install and configure is also at that link. Please let me know if you have any trouble with any of this.

As of 1.0.0, clilol supports everything offered by omg.lol except for some.pics. I’m working on that and will release it soon enough. Also, in the 1.0.0 version, only a single omg.lol address is (easily) supported. Proper support for multiple addresses will also come in the future.

Thanks to Adam for providing such a fun service and a useful API (in spite of his frequent laments that he didn’t document it enough, I managed to make it work!) And thanks to Elliott Street for his Go client library, which I am using and helping to improve, and Andy Piper for help with a bug report.

Have fun with this - I did!

This is so cool, @mcornick! :raised_hands:t4: For those 1Password users among us, I started building a shell plugin:

Hey Arun, that’s great! I am a 1Password user and have started using the shell plugins, so if they accept a plugin for clilol that would be incredible.

Do I understand correctly that even though clilol create picture is documented, it’s not supported on 1.0.0?

Oof, yeah, the picture commands are not in 1.0 and shouldn’t have made it into the documentation. I’ll fix the docs later. Thanks for letting me know!
